As the tandem kayakers we got nominated to be in the front of the raft, to keep the pace.
Not that we had to paddle very frequently since the water rapidly moved us downstream.
Nenana River from Denali to Healey is beautiful and exhilarating.

It’s almost like white water rafting but you are not in a boat. I think it’s also called river boarding. You get a little board and you are in the water directly. It’s pretty amazing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riverboarding

Wow! That looks pretty amazing, I can’t find anyone doing it in my area (I’ve never seen it and a quick search online didn’t get me anywhere, except that at least one person thinks it’s awesome http://www.extrahyperactive.com/2009/11/riverboarding-is-going-to-be-huge-in.html?m=1) but I’ll keep my eyes open because that would be fun!

I’ve done it in France, close to the Swiss border. It was amazing!
