The weather said rain and thunderstorms but we only had one day to kayak in Vancouver so my younger brother and I planned on going anyway.
It’s March so not many outdoorsy touristy places were open but Ecomarine Paddlesport Centre on Granville Island was open so we rented a kayak there and hopped onto False Creek.
We lazily followed the perimeter of False Creek all the way to the end and back and poked our nose into English Bay.
This was after a couple hours of biking around Stanley Park
So we had worked up our appities and went to the market on Granville and ate our fill.
The amazing part was, that rain never showed and it was the perfect temperature for staying active.
It also wetted my appities, so to speak, for planning more kayaking adventures for this summer!
