While flipping through my pictures I noticed a snow day trip I forgot about from January. The zoo!

The peacocks seemed happy but the hippos maybe needed some heat in their pond….

Even the hippo statue didn’t seem happy.

It was a pretty cold day so after a loop of animals we decided to do the indoor play area.

Kaya spent more time today in the more science-y area. Kaden didn’t mind since he could feel all the rocks while she checked everything out with a magnifier.

While we were inside it started to snow pretty heavily (for Seattle). We still checked out a few more animals on our way out, per Kaya’s request.
