We stayed in a cabin just outside the Nisqually (West) entrance. This helped to not be in the long line again to get back into the park Sunday morning.
Gateway Inn, in the cabin, was definitely worth the stay.

The hiking was wonderful. Warmer today than yesterday but we also choose easier hikes.

Whenever we were in the more crowded areas (like actual Myrtle falls) I made Kaya wear a mask. When not I had her give space. It was too uncomfortable in the heat and that high up to have a three year old tolerate the double layer of cotton for long. It was hard enough for us adults!
